Increase the participation of the Visual Communication Design Study Program, FSRD Usakti in producing human resources who are reliable, intellectually capable, professional, flexible, innovative, appreciate, promote and preserve traditional arts and local wisdom, without forgetting applicable international standards, and have the Trikrama Trisakti spirit in education and teaching activities.

Increase research activities in developing the science of Visual Communication Design, by promoting traditional arts and local wisdom, and paying attention to the development of science, technology, in order to answer scientific problems of Visual Communication Design based on a sense of nationalism that can improve the quality of life and civilization.
