The “Artfection” exhibition intends to open a space to work in reflection for elements of the Trisakti University FSRD community, namely Lecturers as educators, Students who are undergoing the learning process, and Alumni who are actively working and working outside the campus. Thus, the space to work in “Artfection” is not just physically – such as a gallery filled with many works – but as a momentum to renew the view of the relationship between Art and Design, especially for the exhibitors who are actors and/or will become actors in the field of art and design in the scope of society, in everyday reality.

Based on the intentions stated above, “Arfection” was held with objectives that lead to the internal scope of the organizers and the external scope, namely the general and broad public. Internally, “Artfection” aims to revitalize views and further understandings and thoughts about the relationship between art and design back and forth; that in the scope of the community, namely the academic scope, it is the essence of both science and education in an auto-critique by questioning and then reformulating as an offer for scientific enrichment.

The exhibition, which took place on May 13-27, 2023, was held at Building R, 2nd floor, Faculty of Art and Design – Trisakti University. The series of exhibitions were complemented by workshops, telshows and competitions.
